A person takes a calculated risk, booking two complete strangers to shoot their wedding, corresponding mostly by e-mail, knowing that meeting in-person before the big day is a 'maybe' (in our case, a 'maybe' that panned out last minute, bless those two!). Even though we live in Ontario, and were flying out for our Alberta wedding, from the very first conversation with Rachel, our decision didn't feel like a gamble at all. Working with these two on our wedding day (and watching them work together) was a great pleasure. Their passion is unmistakable, their enthusiasm is reflected in their subjects and looking over the end result we couldn't be happier. The experience was so easy and fun for us, our wedding party, and our families-- which is obvious in the effortless, natural smiles in these pictures. I have been a Event Coordinator for 10 years. I have worked with dozens of photographers over the years. I found the times I have worked with Trevor and Rachel to be the calmest and well run photo shoots. They are calm even through thunder storms, wind gusts, as well working hard to keep the wedding party calm through those moments. On a personal note, our family hired them for our youngest sons graduation from grade 12. They made it fun for all 8 of us, capturing wonderful relaxed family memories. I would recommend them for any wedding, or special event that you want a life time of fantastic, creative, unique pictures captured.

We are so thrilled that we decided to have Trevor and Rachel Olson as our photographers for our big day. We were lucky enough to get to know them a bit before the wedding with some engagement pictures. They turned out beautifully and we ended up using them for our invitations. Trevor and Rachel were fun and easy to work with and put up with the wind and rain to get us some amazing wedding pictures. We were so impressed by their ability to work together as a team. Having two people taking pictures meant we had two perspectives for every shot. The photo booth that they set up was a blast and the pictures were by far the best quality I have ever seen from something like that. We were blown away by the wonderful photo book we received in the package. It's a fantastic way to display and show off our pictures. It will be something we treasure for the rest of our lives!
