Victoria & Matthew – Olds, Alberta – Calgary Wedding Photography

Someone once said that it is the details and the planning that make a wedding beautiful and it is the unexpected things that make it extraordinary… this wedding was chalked full of the unexpected. It rained and it poured… then in dumped some more. Victoria and Matthew were married on not only ‘a rainy day’ but ‘THE rainiest day’ we’ve ever had a chance to shoot on. And yet, there were no (extra) tears, no (extra) nerves and nothing but a ton of mushy warm love (really, there was a lot of LOVE)!

It was after their engagement session in Nelson, B.C. late this summer that we realized that this wedding was going to be special… we just didn’t expect the beautifully extraordinary blessing of a day that the rain brought with it!
