Katri & Ryan – Wedding

We know what you are thinking and let me clear this up right off the bat… no, it is not snowing in Canada in June. LOL. But sadly, it’s been known to happen (on an odd year) and truthfully, while we’ve blocked snow and blizzards from our memories, this beautiful wedding was not that very long ago at all. Katri and Ryan’s ‘spring’ wedding was hijacked by a final blast of big, beautiful, blizzardy winter. And, it made for the most magical day… guests lending a hand pushing cars out of drifts, other guests opening their homes to house the stranded travellers and people running arm in arm from buildings to vehicles to avoid the sideways blasts of snow. Everyone celebrating. Everyone embracing the sudden change of plans. Ryan and Katri were troopers. All you need to do is scroll down, through their images to see that there was laughing and dancing, kissing and snowball fights. It truly was a day that dished out the unexpected and it warmed our hearts to see how everyone pulled together and helped this beautiful day go off without much of a hitch (but a whole ton of snow).
